Las Terrazas is a small touristic complex allowing you to experience rural and environmentally sustainable development in this part of the Biosphere Reserve of Sierra del Rosario, in the region of Artemisa, Cuba.

This area is where the first coffee plantation of Cuba was established, and offers one of the biggest zipline circuit of Cuba. Here arrive buses from Havana full of tourists wanting to spend a day in touch with nature. In this picturesque town is established a thriving artistic community of open studies and workshops.

The town also features a small lake (Lago San Juan) where you can rent paddle boats; but - above all - what stands out the most is the lush natural surroundings, perfect for trips to relax and birdwatch.

The most important attractions in the area are: Cafetal Buenavista, Hacienda Unión, ruins of San Pedro and Santa Catalina, Pena de Polo Montañez Museum, and the Lester Campa Gallery, as well as the squares.
